To enable all clients visiting our lakes to fully enjoy their visit, we respectfully request that the following guidlines are adhered to at all times. These are in place to protect the fish, wildlife, the habitat and yourselves.
The fish in our lakes will give pleasure to you, the angler and there is no reason why their lives should be threatened
or any harm come to them in any way because of careless or thoughtless behaviour.
We consider these conditions to be fair and are in place for the benefit of all.
• Swims available from 1pm on day of arrival and to be vacated by 10:00 on the day of departure.
• A limit of three rods per angler. No rods to be left unattended at any time.
• Large Unhooking Mats are compulsory. Mats to be a minimum of 4 feet long and 2 feet wide with at least 2” of cushion.
• To prevent damage or injury to the fish, all transportation back into the lake of caught fish must be done with either
the unhooking mat or the weighing sling. This will help prevent dropping or damaging the fish.
• No sacking of fish.
• For any tears or injuries to the fish, sustained during capture, you are asked to bring Klinix so that fish may be treated immediately.
• Fish to be returned to the water as soon as possible.
• Barbless hooks only, up to size 2. Bent hooks (long shank curved hooks) are not allowed.
Semi-fixed safety or running leads only.
• Mainline of 15lbs. minimum to be used and hooklinks 25lbs. Braided line is allowed provided it is
used
in conjunction with a minimum of three feet of Leadcore or protective tubing.
• Landing nets must be a minimum size of 42” and knotless.
• No nuts of any kind including peanuts, tiger nuts etc.
• Only baits & pellets purchased from us may be used.
• Bait boats are allowed as long as there in no interference with other anglers
• No litter of any kind to be left. (line, hooks, cigarette butts etc.) Please use litter bins provided.
• No excessive alcohol consumption or any type of substance abuse.
• No swimming.
• No fires.
• No firearms or weapons allowed.
• Pets not allowed. Guide dogs and Hearing dogs allowed by arrangement.
• Mobile Phones.
We ask clients to show consideration to others by reducing the level of ring tones and speaking quietly.
We consider these conditions to be fair to all our clients.
If common sense is used there is no reason why these should detract from the enjoyment of your holiday with us.
We reserve the right to request any person considered to be in breach of these conditions to pack and vacate Le Moulin de Cheni
immediately with no refund of any monies previously paid or with any other form of compensation.
