1. Booking Contract:
The property know as ‘Le Moulin de Cheni’ its gîtes and lakes are available for holiday rentals subject to these terms and
conditions and our written confirmation of your reservation. By making a booking with Le Moulin de Cheni S.A.R.L you enter a contract between Le Moulin de Cheni S.A.R.L. and yourselves. Both parties are subject to French law.
2. Reservation:
Completion of the reservation form and payment of a non-returnable deposit of €200 deposit per week booked..
This will be acknowledged by e-mail confirming dates and accommodation. This will constitute our formal acceptance of your
reservation and the cost of your holiday is guaranteed.
3. Balance of Payment:
For bookings of one week or more the balance of the cost of your reservation must be made not less than eight weeks before
the start of the rental period. If payment is not received by the due date we reserve the right to give notice in writing that
the reservation is cancelled.
4. Cancellation:
If you cancel your holiday you will incur a cancellation fee as follows:-
(I) Cancellation up to eight weeks before commencement of your booking - Deposit only.
(ii) Cancellation less than eight weeks before commencement of your booking - Full cost of the reservation
5. Termination:
We reserve the right to immediately cancel our contract if we, or our employees, consider the behaviour of any member of your
party to be unacceptable to us or our clients or such behaviour
which may result in damage to property, wildlife, animals or fish.
6. Liability:
Under no circumstances will our liability to you exceed the amount paid to us for your holiday. We accept no responsibility for
any loss, personal injury or death unless it is the result of negligence by us or our employees - providing they were acting at the time in the course of their employment.
7. Insurance:
You are strongly advised to arrange Travel Insurance for all members of your party that covers Medical Costs & Expenses,
Personal Belongings, Public Liability, Personal Injury, Death, Cancellation Fees and all other Eventualities, as these are not
covered by our Insurance.
8. Force Majeure
We cannot be held liable for any delay, cancellation or loss due to Fire, Flood, Storm, Closure of Ports, Industrial or Political
Unrest, Riots, War, Weather Conditions, or any other event or circumstance beyond our control.
9. Passport & Travel Documents:
It is the sole responsibility of each and every member of your party to ensure they have a valid Passport/Visa (if applicable)
Any loss, delay or any other situation arising from non-possession of relevant travel documentation is entirely their responsibility
10. Data Protection policy:
You consent to our retaining any personal information provided by you for any internal administrative purpose or any future
marketing use. You also consent to us using contact information supplied by you, for us to contact you by that method.. In
future if you decide you no longer want communication from us you agree to inform us so that our records can be updated.
11. Pets:
Pets are not allowed. Guide dogs and hearing dogs allowed by arrangement.
12. Complaints:
In the unlikely event of any complaint please inform us as soon as possible
13. Swimming.
No swimming allowed in the fishing lakes.
